Last December, Revenue Online got a fresh update to make it easier to navigate and view the available services. No more choosing between Individual and Business. All the available services are displayed on the main page. To get access to a tax account, see the far right side of the page and click on “Sign Up (Individual and Business).”
New for Individuals:
- Respond to an Inquiry Letter (letter entitled “Your Return Cannot Be Processed”) – Submit documentation requested by the department to continue processing a return.
- File a Protest – In the past, the taxpayer had to be logged into the account to file a protest. Now, the protest may be filed without accessing the account.
The income tax filing deadline is fast approaching. If you have not taken advantage of the services in Revenue Online, this will be a great time to try it. Visit www.Colorado.gov/RevenueOnline to get started.
